The audience included students from the performers' year groups, and they made a monetary contribution to be a member of the audience.

The panel of judges made up of G.Smith, E.Cahill and G.Stoddard, were absolutely blown away by the outstanding performances from students in all year groups. Talents ranged from singing, playing acoustic guitar, dance routines, karate demonstrations, football tricks and many more. The support and encouragement our students showed each other before, during and after each performance was the highlight; they did themselves proud. One thing is for sure: Basildon Lower Academy has most certainly got talent... and lots of it!
