Collaborating with the geography department, students completed the Wellbeing Challenge by participating in outdoor lessons and becoming more environmentally aware.

The group also developed an Eco-Code for all staff to follow, promoting actions such as turning off lights and projectors when not in use and, reducing paper consumption. Additionally, a smaller team from the Eco Committee launched a campaign to encourage the Basildon community to plant more trees in open spaces.

In recognition of their hard work, the committee was rewarded with a fun filled party day where they enjoyed face painting, drawing, scavenger hunts, and gardening activities.
