Evolve

Evolve: KS3 Enhanced Provision

Evolve is designed to offer early intervention and support for students with significant social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs in their transition from KS2 to KS3. Our aim is to provide a nurturing, therapeutic environment where students can overcome barriers, build resilience, and re-engage with their education.

Who We Support

Evolve is designed for KS3 students who:

  • Struggle to access the mainstream curriculum due to SEMH needs.
  • Face barriers such as low self-esteem, anxiety, or behavioural challenges.
  • Require additional support to develop resilience and emotional well-being.

What We Offer

  • Full funded provision for students with identified SEMH.
  • Students benefit from a calm and supportive environment with small group instruction and a low student-to-staff ratio.
  • Highly trained staff provide specialised support, tailored to the unique needs of each student.
  • Therapeutic interventions focus on emotional regulation, resilience, and fostering mental well-being.
  • A customised curriculum ensures flexibility and adaptation to individual learning needs.
  • Support is provided to help students successfully transition back into mainstream settings when appropriate.

How It Works

Referral Process: Referrals can be made as early as Year 6 by primary schools, in partnership with the receiving secondary school, to ensure a seamless transition to KS3. Referrals can also be made by secondary schools for students in Year 7.

Collaboration: We work in partnership with schools, families, and external agencies to create a comprehensive and personalised support plan.

Monitoring Progress: Regular reviews assess each student’s academic, emotional, and social development to ensure they are on track to meet their goals.

Why Choose Evolve?

Our provision is guided by the values of Trauma Perceptive Practice (TPP):

  • Compassion and Kindness
  • Hope
  • Connection and Belonging

Evolve is committed to reducing exclusions, re-engaging students with their education, and helping them build the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
