Students Engage in First Aid Day

On Tuesday 4th October students from both academies took part in our inaugural ‘First Aid Day’.  

Throughout the day, students studied first aid with a particular focus on safety, wellbeing and helping others.  Students engaged in various role-playing activities, exploring what they would do in different emergency situations.

“First Aid Day was really good, we gained a lot of knowledge that can help to save somebody’s life.” Grace.R – Year 8

“I had fun. I learned about back blows, CPR and how to take care of people who are injured.” Tae.S – Year 8

“I found First Aid Day very interesting. I gained a lot of knowledge about how to take care of people in certain situations.”
