Accessing the Student portal

The Student Portal is the central access point for a range of online learning resources and platforms to support students studies at home.

Through the portal, students can access their homework, revision resources and learning platforms, all in one convenient place.

The best part? Once logged in to the Student Portal, students benefit from single sign-on, meaning there is no need to remember additional usernames or passwords for platforms such as Sparx and Seneca.

How to Log In

Logging in is simple! Students use exactly the same login details they use when accessing a computer at school.

Step 1 – Enter username

Student username is thier 8-digit Academy number followed by: @basildonacademies.org.uk

* For current Year 7s this begins with 26026***, Year 8s 25025*** and Year 9s 24024***

* The last 3 digits are personal to your child.

Step 2 – Enter password

The student password is the same one they use to log in to a computer at school.

Step 3 – Accessing learning platforms

Once logged in, students can access the range of learning platforms available through the Student Portal without needing to enter separate login details. No further logins are needed.

The 2 main platforms used are SPARX (English and Maths can be accessed from SPARX Reader) and SENECA for all remaining subjects.

Once set work is complete, students are able to work independently with a never-ending supply of questions.
