Layla Receives Jack Petchey Outstanding Achiever Award

Year 7 student Layla.W has been recognised for her hard work and determination after receiving the Jack Petchey Outstanding Achiever Award.

Layla was nominated for the award in recognition of the effort she shows every day in school. Over the past year, she has worked incredibly hard in her lessons, and her progress has seen her move up to the Express pathway. Since then, she has continued to push herself and work even harder in class.

Layla is also a regular at enrichment activities and consistently demonstrates our school values and the BA Way in everything she does. She is known by staff and students as a caring and generous member of the Academy community.

Her ambitions for the future reflect this caring nature, as Layla hopes to one day become a paramedic so she can help others.

Layla’s positive attitude and determination make her a fantastic role model for other students, showing how hard work and perseverance can help you overcome challenges and achieve your goals.

“I felt really happy and shocked when I found out that I had received the award. I feel proud that I have been nominated and recognised for my progress in learning.” Layla.W
