The Basildon Lower Academy will be welcoming students, parents and carers who will be transitioning to secondary education in September 2026. There will be an opportunity for visitors to tour the schools facilities, speak to key members of staff and meet our Leadership Team.

Our Open Evening will give you the chance to:

• Tour the school and explore our classrooms and specialist facilities (including science labs, sports hall/dance studio, art and design areas, ICT suites, swimming pool, catering kitchens, and more).
• Meet our dedicated staff and current Student Ambassadors, who will share how we support all students to succeed both academically and personally.
• Experience live subject demonstrations and interactive activities.
• Learn more about our curriculum and enrichment opportunities.
• Ask questions about the transition to secondary school and meet the staff who guide students through every step.­­
• Discover how we help every child thrive, whatever their starting point.

A complimentary minibus will be available for any of our visitors wishing to visit our Upper Academy.

Our Upper Academy is home to Year 10, Year 11 & Sixth Form students and we will be welcoming prospective students looking to join our Sixth Form. There will be opportunities to see our A Level and BTEC courses that are available.

Doors open on both sites from 5pm until 7pm.
