We are delighted to celebrate Year 9 student Ornigioia.B, who has been recognised with a Jack Petchey Outstanding Achiever Award for her dedication, determination and consistently excellent attitude towards learning.
Ornigioia has demonstrated outstanding achievement across all of her subjects and is currently exceeding her target grades. Her commitment to success is reflected in the effort she puts into her studies, regularly attending after-school and lunchtime revision sessions to further improve her understanding and progress.
Always striving to be the very best she can be, Ornigioia actively seeks support when needed and is constantly exploring new ways to improve her work. Alongside her own achievements, she is also a supportive and encouraging member of the school community, often helping others when they may not understand something. Her confidence, positive attitude and caring nature have made her a deserving recipient of this award.
Speaking about receiving the award, Ornigioia said: “I feel really proud of myself. I really appreciate how the teachers have supported me and recognised my skills.”
Staff praised Ornigioia for her maturity, resilience and determination to succeed, recognising the fantastic example she sets for others through both her academic achievements and willingness to support those around her.
