Our budding gardeners had a great day walking the grounds and taking part in activities in the education centre. Students posed questions to gardeners whilst exploring different plants and observing the preparation for the winter months.

The group spent the afternoon potting up herbs and various seeds, they also identified vegetables they can grow in our school allotment. They students had a great day and are all very excited to be going back in July 2022 and seeing the grounds during Summer!

The Gardening and Allotment club is open to all Lower Academy students every Tuesday at 3.30pm in the Quad. Don’t forget to bring your coat and wellies, it can get quite cold and muddy!
