Students Turn Crisp Packets into Support for the Homeless

Students from all year groups have been taking part in a creative and compassionate recycling project — transforming used crisp packets into thermal blankets to help those in need.
As part of the initiative, students have been collecting, washing, and carefully ironing crisp packets together to create insulating, foil-based blankets that will offer warmth and comfort to people experiencing homelessness. This thoughtful project not only promotes sustainability but also highlights the power of small actions to make a big difference.
The completed blankets will be donated to a local charity at the end of the academic year. In the meantime, the project will continue, with more students joining in and contributing to the cause.
We’d like to thank Plastic Clever Schools for their support and guidance in helping us carry out this initiative — a perfect example of environmental awareness and community care coming together in action.
